Project Z is a next-generation social platform designed for Gen Z creators and communities. It reimagines social networking around self-expression, fandom culture, and gamified interaction.
The app quickly gained traction across Latin America and global markets, becoming a vibrant hub for creative youth culture.
What I Did
As Co-founder and Head of Product, Growth & User Operations, I led the overall product vision, experience design, and go-to-market strategy.
I worked cross-functionally with engineering, data, and marketing to align product innovation with community growth and user operations.
- Defined overall product strategy and user experience — covering 1-on-1 matching, multi-user interaction, AI integrations, and NFT-enabled communities.
- Built and managed multilingual operations teams (Spanish, Portuguese, English) across LATAM and global regions.
- Scaled the platform from 0 to 800K MAU and 180K DAU within 2 years, maintaining 50%+ day-2 retention.
Business Value
As my first 0-to-1 product, Project Z was a journey of building from scratch — from product design and user growth to leading an international team.
Along the way, I met many loyal users who became genuine friends and supporters of the community.
Although the project has paused due to team restructuring, it remains one of my favorite creations — a meaningful chapter that shaped both my craft and perspective.
